WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

The Rome Music Collective’s mission is to connect and empower Rome’s musical community through building relationships and enhancing education while connecting musicians with one another,  and with more fans, as well as putting more cultural events in local venues.  The goal of this project is to serve and unite Rome area musicians from all backgrounds, with educational and promotional opportunities in the form of a community based live performance.  We plan to do this by choosing a CLASSIC ALBUM seasonally, selecting a local venue to host, and joining various professional musicians from the Rome area to perform.  Through this process we will foster new musical connections between musicians who may otherwise not perform together, and educational opportunities while learning parts and working together to learn the chosen album, and we will put musicians in front of new potential fans, enhancing their musical careers, all within a Rome venue.  You can support our efforts by sponsoring sponsoring our performances, or making a donation, or volunteering at one of our events.
